Christmas is my favorite time of the year, a season of giving! These Christmas Book Unit Studies will help your kids to focus on the reason for the season!

I love good books. But you probably already know that!

I also love Christmas! It’s probably my favorite time of the year. It is the season that many people focus more on giving than getting. On family togetherness and forgiveness instead of hurt feelings and hate. It’s the season that reminds us that Jesus came to give us new life.

But Christmas can also be a time that makes the ache in hurting hearts almost unbearable. It’s a time that we should be reaching out to hurting people, and showing them God’s love. Maybe they lost a loved one. Or they lost a job and don’t know how they will be able to afford Christmas this year. With these 5 Christmas book unit studies, I want to help you and your kids to focus on the reason for the season, and reaching out to the hurting people around you.

I am so excited to be a part of iHN’s 5 Days of Christmas Blog Hop this year, so I have created a mini Literature-based unit study to go along with 5 different Christmas books. This is a great way to sneak some learning and character-building in during the holiday hustle and bustle. So come along with me as we celebrate 5 Days of Christmas Literature-Based Mini Unit Studies!

I have never heard of any of these books. Well the Christmas Tapestry may sound a bit familiar to me. Will definitely check them out.
