She sat on the edge of the bed, in a room that was piled with dirty laundry and books and toys on the floor, and she wept. She felt so overwhelmed and lonely. She worked everyday, came home, got dinner and put the kids in bed, then dropped into bed exhausted just to wake up to do it all over again. Was this all there was to life?
